Portfolio

Hello. Welcome to Krista Ream's website. Here you will find samples of my creative efforts by way of promotions, production and performance. Please feel free to explore the site and contacting me with any questions. Thanks for stopping by!

Performance

Acting is my greatest passion and what I hope to continue to cultivate going forward. Favorite roles have included Poppy in "Noises Off" Julia in "A Murder is Announced" and the world premier of "A Christmas at Aunt Ida's." I've also been an extra in films such as "Hero Tomorrow" and commercial shots for Ryno Productions in their "Man on the Street" series (amongst others).  In recent years, I have taken classes at Second City, Cabaret Dada and the Beck Center for the Arts. It is my goal to build a lifetime of living in the performing arts. Please click on the links for additional information:

Promotions | Writing

Utilizing my educational background, I treat each promotions & writing project with dedication and creativity. Prior and during my tenure as a Manager of Media Relations for Time Warner Cable, I also took on freelance PR opportunities for the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival, the Cleveland Entertainment Conference and Red Hen Productions Feminist Theater.  Since that time, I've done freelance for Richlin Interiors and the We The People Fest. In my part-time role with the Pittsburgh Concert Chorale, I'm able to keep my skills sharp while assisting a great artistic organization. In terms of non-promotional writing, I've done reviews for local papers at Sun Newspapers, written corporate newsletters, interviews for the arts magazine Spotlight Ohio, co-edited Passages literary magazine, done web content writing and managed social media sites.  Please click on the link for additional information.

Production

I'm also building a strong background in coordination and crew work. I have been a Casting Assistant for NBC's "Nashville Star", a production assistant for "For The Love of Ray J", and a Locations Assistant for "Shelter" amongst others ("The Bride & The Grooms" "And The Winner Is..." and "Three Rivers"). To date, the biggest undertaking has been as the Casting Coordinator for the film "And The Winner Is..." In this role, I managed and coordinated the roles of 50 actors and 300 some extras, often a state away.   Additionally, I've worked film festivals and conferences including We The People Fest and the Cleveland Entertainment Conference.
